Testimony is on my behalf.
I'd like to express my support for the following South Kohala projects
in
the 2006-07 Hawaii County budget:
Public Access, Open Space, and Natural Resources Preservation Fund
Waimea Trails and Greenways
West Hawaii Traffic Calming Improvements
Mamalahoa Highway drainage and road improvements
Saddle Road improvements
Lindsey Road Bridge Replacement
The operating budget for the Planning Department calls for the county to
move toward completing the community development plans fox Kona and Puna
and
initiate community development plans in at least two other areas. I
would
like one of those areas be South Kohala.
