Re: Operating Budget
Recently, the County Council adopted Resolution No. 270-06 which transferred $85,000
from the Clerk-Council Services Contingency Relief account to the Highway Fund for the
installation of streetlights in the 'Alae Subdivision to improve and enhance visibility, safety,
and security in the area.
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating the
$85,000 to the Streetlights OCE account within the Highway Fund.

Amend Ordinance 05-86 for the Highway Fund as follows:
020.3609.11 Transfer from General Fund $ 85,000.00
020.281.5281.32.115 Streetlights OCE 85,000.00
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
Resolution 270-06 pending Council approval, will authorize funds from Clerk Council SVC-Contingency
Relief to the Transfer to Highway funds, $85,000.00 for the installation of streetlights in the Alae
Subdivision.
We are requesting these funds be appropriated in the Highway Fund.
