Re: Resolution Accepting Donation
Enclosed is a resolution accepting a donation of a Zoll AED Plus Defibrillator to the
Department of Parks and Recreation's Aquatics Division. The defibrillator will be used
at La'aloa Beach Park in Kailua-Kona by Water Safety Officers for response to cardiac
emergencies. This donation is being made by Mr. Charles Wagaman, 84 Pukihae
Street, #1405, Hilo, Hawaii 96720 and has an estimated total value of $2,500.

A. REQUEST:
To accept and acknowledge a donation of one Zoll AED Plus Defibrillator to the County of Hawaii,
Department of Parks and Recreation-Aquatics Division.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
Council action is being requested to accept and acknowledge a donation by Charles Wagaman of a Zoll AED
Plus Defibrillator to the County of Hawaii, Department of Parks and Recreation-Aquatics Division. The AED
unit will be used at La'aloa Beach Park in Kailua-Kona by Water Safety Officers for response to cardiac
emergencies. This donation has an estimated value of $2,500.00.
