Jim McLay, Principal and Director, J.K. McLay Limited Please find attached a Resolution which would extend an invitation to the Hon. Jim McLay, Principal and Director, J.K. McLay Limited, to address the Committee on Human Services and Economic Development. Mr. McLay is an internationally renown expert on re-engineering government. I believe having him address the members of our County Council would be extremely enlightening. I am respectfully requesting that this Resolution be waived from the Committee on Finance so that the Council may take appropriate action. The reason a waiver is necessary is that Mr. McLay will be in Hawaii in early November and may be available to address the Committee on Human Services and Economic Development at the November 4, 1997, meeting. Hopefully the Council will concur that such a presentation would be valuable. Thank you for your consideration of this matter. RAY/Ale att. Res. /67 a~ OCT 0 G 1997 it-,r. 400NfY OF H,~'' AARON S.Y.
