SUBJECT: Approval of an Appropriation Ordinance to Amend Ordinance
No. 05-86, as Amended, the Operating Budget for the County
of Hawaii for Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 2006, Authorizing
the Increase of $150,000 in the Housing Assistance Payments
Fund and Appropriating $150,000 in the Housing Subsidies
Expenditure Account
The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) submitted an
Appropriation Ordinance to Amend Ordinance No. 05-86, as Amended, the
Operating Budget for the County of Hawaii for Fiscal Year Ending June
30, 2006, Authorizing the Increase of $150,000 in the Housing
Assistance Payments Fund and Appropriating $150,000 in the Housing
Subsidies Expenditure Account.
The Hawaii County Housing Agency reviewed and approved the
appropriation ordinance at its meeting on April 5, 2006, and voted as
follows:
AYES: F. Holschuh, D. Ikeda, V. Isbell, B. Jacobson,
A. Pilago, G. Safarik, P. Hoffmann - 7
NOES: None
ABSENT AND EXCUSED: J. Arakaki, S. Higa - 2
Accordingly, I am requesting that this appropriation ordinance be
included on the Council agenda for action at its April 19, 2006,
