Dear Chairman Higa and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Mr. James "Kimo" Hodgins of Council District 1 to
the County of Hawai'i Liquor Adjudication Board. Mr. Hodgins is a 61-year
resident of Hawai'i. He is presently employed by Telecable Systems, Inc. From
1969 to 2003, he worked as an Inspector for Hawai'i Electric Light Company.
Mr. Hodgins is the District 50 Lions Zone Chair, and a member and past
president of the Waimea Lions Club. He states that he is not affiliated with any
political party. If confirmed, he will serve a term to expire on December 31, 2010.
