Dear Chairman Higa and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Mr. Peter Hendricks of Council District 1 to the
County of Hawai'i Board of Appeals. Mr. Hendricks is a 41-year resident of
Hawaii. From 2003 to 2005, he served as the Deputy Managing Director for the
County of Hawai'i. From 1988 to 2000, Mr. Hendricks was an Education
Specialist with the State of Hawai'i, DLNR. He is currently retired.
Mr. Hendricks is a volunteer with the YMCA, and a past president of the Waimea
Community Association and the Kawaihae Canoe Club. He states that he is not
affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, he will serve a term to expire on
December 31, 2010.
