Re: Operating Budget
The Department of Public Works was notified by the offices of District 2 Council Member
Donald Ikeda and District 8 Council Member K. Angel Pilago that funds will be transferred
from their allocation of the Council's contingency relief account to the Highway Fund in
forthcoming resolutions. These resolutions will transfer a total of $110,000 from the Clerk-
Council Services Contingency Relief account to the Transfer to Highway Fund account for
the installation of streetlights ($30,000 for District 2 and $50,000 for District 8) and for the
Roads In Limbo project ($30,000 for District 8).
In anticipation of these forthcoming resolutions, we enclosed a bill for an ordinance
amending the Operating Budget by appropriating $80,000 to the Streetlights OCE account
and $30,000 to the Roads in Limbo OCE account within the Highway Fund.

020.301.5301.XX.115 Roads in Limbo 30,000.00
(a new account in Highway Fund)
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
A pending resolution being proposed for Council approval, will authorize funds from Clerk Council SVC-
Contingency Relief to the Transfer to Highway funds, $30,000.00 for Roads-in-Limbo in District 8.
We are requesting these funds be appropriated in the Highway Fund.
