RESOLUTION NO. 3.R.' 6 U 6
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, two recreational facilities in Council District 2, Pu`u`eo Community Center and
the Hilo Armory, need additional equipment and supplies in order to continue to provide services and
activities in the facilities; and
WHEREAS, the Pu`u`eo Community Center needs miscellaneous equipment including, but
not limited to a ping-pong table, volleyball equipment, bingo and other games; and
WHEREAS, the Hilo Armory needs a public address (PA) system; and
WHEREAS, the two facilities provide services and activities for residents in District 2; and
WHEREAS, residents throughout the County of Hawaii frequently utilize these two
recreational facilities; and
WHEREAS, purchase of the equipment and supplies will enable the two facilities to provide
safe and healthy activities for residents throughout the county.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transferred and appropriated as set forth
below:

~E IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Director of Finance, and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the
terms of this resolution.
