RESOLUTION NO. 33~ 4?6
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND
FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, a $15,000.00 appropriation will be used by the Department of Public Works to
complete paving of Pakanu Street in Waikoloa; and
WHEREAS, Pakanu Street is a County owned and maintained roadway which is currently
half paved; and
WHEREAS, the unpaved half of Pakanu Street has a dirt surface which is deeply rutted as a
result of local traffic and rainfall; and
WHEREAS, completing the paving of Pakanu Street will help to ensure the safety and
welfare of Waikoloa residents who travel to and from their homes along this roadway; and
WHEREAS, The County Department of Public Works has promised to complete the paving
of Pakanu Street and funding is now available.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that the following amount be and is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth
below:

CREDITED TO:
. 010.801.5801.38 Department of Public Works $15,000.00

Pakanu Street Paving)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to
make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
