RESOLUTION NO. 331
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND
FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, a $9,677.00 appropriation will be used by the Department of Parks and
Recreation to purchase two new scoreboards for Kamehameha Park Gymnasium; and
WHEREAS, Kamehameha Park Gymnasium hosts numerous competitive high school sports
events which require timekeeping and scoring; and
WHEREAS, the existing scoreboard at Kamehameha Park Gymnasium only serves half the
facility and cannot be seen by spectators sitting adjacent to it; and
WHEREAS, two new scoreboards will be visible from throughout the gymnasium and will
facilitate more accurate timekeeping and scoring for both spectators and players; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation has solicited an acceptable bid from a
private contractor to remove the existing scoreboard and replace it with two new remote-controlled
scoreboards; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is ready to proceed with this prgject
upon receipt of this appropriation.
NOW, TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIIE COUNCIL OF TIDE COUNTY
OF IIAWAI`I that the following amount be and is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth
below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to
make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
