Dear Council Committee on Planning,
Please DO NOT APPROVE this subdivision. The more the Kaloko Mauka forest gets
chopped up into smaller parcels the more the forest will suffer. Subdividing will
lead to more and more dozing.
The more you doze the forest, the less it will rain. When it rains less, it means less
drinking water for Kona. Do you want to contribute to the drought in Kona?
Because that is what you will be doing if you approve any more subdivisions in the
Kaloko Mauka forest. Did this guy do an environmental impact statement? If not,
then it is very unwise to allow him to subdivide. VERY UNWISE.
Also, you should not be approving any more developments in Kona until we are
PAU with our Kona Community Development Plan. ENOUGH ALREADY!
