Re: Resolution Authorizing Payment of Funds for More than One Fiscal Year
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for a later fiscal year
or more than one fiscal year for the furnishing of body removal services. Also
enclosed are the copies of the agreements with Hawaii County Transport and
West Hawaii Mortuary.
The department would like this Resolution to go directly to Council as it is
long overdue due to an oversight.

RE: Resolution Authorizing Payment of Funds for More than One Fiscal Year
Pursuant to Section 1(e) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the County
of Hawaii, this written approval is submitted in regards to Resolution No. 172 ,regarding the
authorization of payment of funds for a later fiscal year or more than one fiscal year for the
furnishing of body removal services, waiving said resolution from the Committee on Finance in
order that appropriate action can be taken by the Council.
In reviewing the contents of the referral, it is deemed advisable that such a waiver be granted.
