A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATWG AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) TO SUPPORT THE HAWAII TEA SOCIETY EXPANSION AND PROMOTION OF THE TEA INDUSTRY. WHEREAS, the Hawaii Tea Society is working to create a viable new industry with the production, retail and export potential of locally produced tea; and WHEREAS, the Global thirst for tea is ever increasing; and WHEREAS, there is a high potential for herbal or medicinal uses of locally produced tea; and WHF,REAS, there is an economic and potential health benefit to the public for supporting the efforts of the Hawaii Tea Society. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below in support of the Hawaii Tea Society: FUND: General AMOUNT OF $7,000.00 APPROPRIATION: OUT AND FROM: 010.101.5109.91 Clerk-CouncilSVC-Contingency Relief $7,000.00 CREDITED TO: 010. ] 61.5162.65 Department of Research and Development $7,000.00 New Industry and Industry Development, Hawaii Tea Society, Miscellaneous Contract Services BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk of the County of Hawaii shall forward a copy of this resolution to the Director of Research and Development, and that the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this Resolution.
