RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the Pu`uanahulu Community Association (PCA) has completed
construction of a volunteer fire station and other facilities located at Pu`uanahulu, North Kona,
Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii, by and through the Hawaii County Fire
Department, is being granted anon-exclusive license by PCA, to occupy and maintain the
existing facilities for the purpose of establishing a volunteer fire station, storing equipment and
volunteer training; and
WHEREAS, prior to occupancy, the facilities require an inspection for compliance with
the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA); and
WHEREAS, the cost of the ADA Compliance Inspection is $1,000.00; and
WHEREAS, ADA compliance is necessary in order to allow the Hawaii County Fire
Department to finalize the License Agreement with PCA and gain occupancy of the facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transferred and appropriated as set forth
below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk of the County of Hawaii shall
forward a copy of this Resolution to the Chief of the Hawaii County Fire Department and the
Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary
transfers in accordance with the terms of this Resolution.
