RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, volunteer firefighters of the Hawaii County Fire Department are a critical
and much needed support team who assist the Hawaii County Fire Department in responding to
emergencies in the County of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, fire supression equipment, uniforms and communication devices are
essential and necessary in carrying out the duties of a volunteer firefighter; and
WHEREAS, the health, safety and welfare of the various communities within Council
District 8 will be greatly served by well-equipped volunteer firefighting personnel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transferred and appropriated as set forth
below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $3,250.00
CREDITED TO:
010.221.5226.02 Hawaii County Fire Department $3,250.00
Training and Volunteer Fire OCE
(7 Bravo Volunteer Fire Station)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk of the County of Hawaii shall
forward a copy of this resolution to the Fire Chief and the Director of Finance and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the
terms of this resolution.
