HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 375 Draft 01 2004-2006 1V ar y~_ w COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII •,rr~O~~M~ RESOLUTION NO. ~~~`5 A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) WHEREAS, the Status of Women is established by Section 367-4, Hawaii Revised Statutes; and WHEREAS, with its statutory authority the Status of Women has deemed the "Teen Dating Violence Peer Education Conference" as one of their goals for the Hawaii County; and WHEREAS, the conference will beheld in the School Year of 2006-07 to help eliminate the prevalence and cultural acceptance of teen dating violence by increasing awareness of teen dating violence in the schools and the community; and WHEREAS, the target audience are teens ranging from 11 through 18 years of age. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transferred and appropriated as set forth below: FUND: General AMOUNT OF APPROPRIATION: $10,000.00 OUT AND FROM: 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-CauncilSVC-Contingency Relief $10,000.00 CREDITED TO: 010.111.5115.20 Office of the Mayor $10,000.00 Committee on the Status of Women (Teen Dating Violence Peer Education Conference) BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this resolution to the Office of the Mayor and the Director of Finance, and that the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
