Dear Council Member Arakaki:
Thank you for the opportunity to review and provide recommendations on the proposed bill to
amend the capital budget by appropriating $70,000 to the Waiakea-Uka Park Comfort Station
project. I understand that while $140,000 has already been provided for this project,
additional funds are still necessary.
This is a worthwhile project and the actual funding will come from the Clerk-Council
Services Contingency Relief account (Council District 3 discretionary funds.) This proposed
appropriation is supported so that this needed project can be completed.
Again, I thank you for the opportunity to provide comments on your proposal.
