I am in SUPPORT BILL 266 - FAIR AND EQUITABLE ACCESS TO GOVERNMENTAL PROCESS Bill 268 will open the door for a fair and balanced government process. The tax payers of the west side pay over 70% of the entire Counties budget. The County Council meetings being held in Hilo are out of reach for a majority of the tax payers. To drive 100 miles to a county council meeting is Leaving the west side without a say. This is the fair way to have 6 meetings on the west side and 6 meetings on the east side. This should be a fair and balanced government. Our constitution does read "We the People" and not "we the people of Hilo". If this bill doesn't pass; then it means the process of splitting the County will have to become a major focus. Work with us so we don't have to march forward and split the County in two. Any county council members that vote against bill this should get the boot. It flat out says "we don't want to be fair or equal to all tax payers". Decisions about Kona should_ be heard and responded to within thereach of the tax pavers. This is so important that we act now so we can have local decisions on what is happening in Kona. We need TAXATION WITH REPRESENTATION. Respectfully, Pamela Hicks Hawaii Island Tax Payer since 1992 Concerned Citizen of west Hawaii hicksspajg aol.com_ 808-325-2164 Comm. No. 2.5*.~ Z Rof. To: Pr.
