Subject: University of Hawaii, West Hawaii Campus, Palamanui Support For
We believe that it is most important, for the future of education in West Hawaii, that a
UH Campus be established in West Hawaii.
The location that was selected by a study group and approved by the Regents of the
University of Hawaii should be followed and that location is adjacent to the
Palamanui subdivision. A Start Up facility consisting of a Community College is a
great beginning. It appears that the Hilu Hilu project will produce the foundation for
such a campus as a part of it's overall plans. We strongly support the location as stated
herein.
