I am writing this letter in support of the proposed Palamnui subdivision in Kona. As a resident of this
area I feel that it is ABSOLUTELY necessary to put a new town center and neighborhood at makalei.
This community badly needs a new area like this where all the different income levels can afford homes.
We need to build more projects like this in Kona. Additionally this is one of the few developments that
is actually moving in the right direction-North of the Airport.
I hear that people are proposing to put the university by the dump? this is ridiculous, The traffic will be
absolutely horrendous, put the university at Palamanui. I don't see how this idea can even be considered.
