Subject: Bi11235,Draft2
I ask that you consider amending Bill 235, Draft 2 by increasing the Police
Administrative Division's Equipment Account by $675,000 and decreasing'fransfer to
Op Rainy Day Reserve Fund by the same amount. The appropriation will be used to
purchase Electronic Control Devices (ECDs) or Taser devices. "the ECDs have become a
valuable tool for today's law enforcement community and gives more options to end
confrontation without further injury to the officer or the suspect.
The following amendment affecting appropriation(s) to the expenditure account(s) is
reflected below:
