SUBJECT: MARIJUANA ERADICATION MISSION FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL 2006
The Hawaii Police Department conducted a marijuana eradication mission on April 28-27,
2006, in East Hawaii.
As required by Resolution No. 46-01, reports indicating the number of plants eradicated
and the number of complaints received from the public, the type of complaint and the
complaint disposition are attached.

Reported helicopter flew about 30 feet above caller's residence.

Reason for Being in Area:
Observed marijuana plants but did not harvest in that it was believed it may be for medical use due to
the low plant count.
Time in Area: 3 minutes No. of Plants Recovered: None
Immediate Action Taken:
Helicopter left area prior to being reported by caller.
Comments:
We do not have a helicopter matching the caller's description so it is apparent it was not as Gose as
caller stated. Our helicopter dropped down to 500 feet to view the marijuana plants observed. In
seeing that the number of marijuana plants was close to that allowed for medical use, left the area.
