Re: Proposed development of Kona Coffee Estates
Dear Council Members,
I am against the propesed development because:
1. Adding the Kona Coffee Estates without an alternate route for Emergency
vehicles will cause a safety problem. As of now Malulani )rive is the only
access planed for the new subdivision.
2. Opening Malulani Drive between Henry street and the queen's Highway will
create a safety problem, not only from the additional traffic from the
Development but more serious, Drivers will now use this as a shortcut
between the Queen's Highway and Henry street and visa - versa. This will
also cause a safety issue for residents of Malulani Gardens trying to to
get in and out of the Development.
3. Kona Coffee Estates should not be approved unless it has an alternate
ingress egress out of the development.
4. Please do not approve this development unless the Developer provides access
to.the Kona Coffee Estates on upper Palani, away from the traffic congestion
that already plagues the area around Henry Street and the Queen's Highway.
