RESOLUTION NO. 3 i~ v'h
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF CONSTRUCTION OF
NEW DUG OUT BENCHES WITH CONCRETE SLABS FOR PU`U NUI PARK
WHEREAS, Goodfellow Brothers, Inc. has constructed new dug out benches with concrete slabs for the
Pu`u Nui Park in Waikoloa; and; and
WHEREAS, the estimated total value of the labor and materials for the construction of the dug out
benches and concrete slabs is $6,500; and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council, on
behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation recommends the acceptance cf this donation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that in
accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, the Council of the County of Hawaii
accepts this donation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution and a letter of appreciation be sent to the
Mr. Edward Brown, Region Manager, Goodfellow Brothers, Inc., P.O. Box 383729, Waikoloa, Hawaii 96'38,
acknowledging this generous donation.
