RE: Request time for presentation by Janet Eli of the Alzheimer's Association, Aloha
Chapter, to provide a briefing to the Council on Alzheimer's and the County's
role.
I would like to request time during the June 6, 2006 committee proceedings to provide Ms. Janet
Eli, President and CEO of the Alzheimer's Association (Aloha Chapter), to brief the Council on
the most current information regarding Alzheimer's, including what role the County can play in
an effort to meet this affliction head on.
One hour of time will be sufficient for Ms. Eli to present information and receive questions as
well. We will be asking Alan Parker of the Office on Aging to attend as well and be available to
entertain any questions that may pertain to his office.
I would like to request that this informative briefing come before the Human Services and
Economic Development Committee at the aforementioned date.
