Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 259, reports as follows:
Bill No. 259, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 799,
dated Apri13, 2006, amends Ordinance No. OS-86, as amended, the Operating Budget, ending
June 30, 2006. The amendment is as follows:
From:
3609.11 Transfer from General Fund Highway $85,000
To:
020-281-5281.32 Streetlights OCE Highway $85,000
(`Alae Subdivision)
These funds will be used for the installation of streetlights in the `Alae Subdivision to improve
and enhance visibility, safety, and security in the azea. The County Council adopted Resolution
No. 270-06 that transferred $85,000 from the Clerk-Council Services Contingency Relief
account to the Highway Fund.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 259 and
recommends it pass first reading.
