Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 271, reports as follows:
Bill No. 271, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 833,
dated April 17, 2006, amends Ordinance No. OS-86, as amended, the Operating Budget, ending
June 30, 2006. The amendment is as follows:
From:
3609.11 Transfer from General Fund Highway $110,000
To:
020-281-5281.32 Streetlights OCE Highway $ 80,000
(District 2 - $30,000, District 8 - $50,000)
020-301-5301.80 Roads in Limbo OCE $ 30,000
(District 8 - $30,000)
The Department of Public Works was notified by the offices of District 2 Council Member
Donald Ikeda and District 8 Council Member K. Angel Pilago that funds will be transferred from
their allocation of the Council's contingency relief account to the Highway Fund in forthcoming
resolutions.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 271 and
recommends it pass first reading.
