A number of years ago a friend of mine worked for a coalition of rural counties in Maine vice President
and New Hampshire. His main job was to read all existing laws to look for unintended Burt Weiss, R
consequences. Next he had to write proposed ordinances to fix the problem. Some of
these problems were inconsistencies others were regulations that were appropriate to a Secretary

We believe that is the case with the ordinances that resulted in the Leslie decision. As it Treasurer
