Aloha Members,
The Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce asks that you review the bill 246 and
send in your testimony ASAP. "-Z
We have a democratically elected Council and they affirm the appointment of
qualified officials into the Administration. We urge you to let the Council
hear your position regarding the Planning Director's proposed changes and
note that they will IN NO WAY lessen the County requirements or scrutiny of
subdivision proposals but simply make the process more efficient from every
perspective. We fully accept the right of people (and organized but 3self
appointed' groups) to make their views known but do not believe that they
should be allowed to delay or intimidate effective Government by elected
officials.
The Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce asks that you review the bill 246 and
send in your testimony ASAP. The Board of Directors of The Kona Kohala
Chamber of Commerce have not issued an official position on Bill 246 however
we urge you to study this important bill and submit your testimony to the
County Council before Tuesday morning at 9am.
