Hilo is the capital of the county and the vast majority of items on the agendas require overall attention from the East side. Whenever there are important matters affecting development that directly impacts the lives of people in West Hawaii, the video conferencing in both Kona and Waimea allows the voters there the opportunity to testify while meetings are conducted in Hilo. Quarterly meetings are still held in Kona, therefore, the current schedule throughout the year should remain status quo. It is essential that this Bill be given your full and complete attention.
