Subject: coastal land acquisition
County Budget Bill 235 was pass to provide money for coastal land acquisition. We ask the council to
restore the funds intended by this bill. Money needs to be placed in the land acquisition fund. Coastal
lands need to be acquired and placed in Public Trust. Public access to shoreline needs to be protected
and expanded.
