Subject: Bill 246- Amendments to the Subdivision Code
Please vote against this bill. We must have a standard set of information that a developer must submit
before a subdivision is mapped. The discretion to apply or not apply all or part of this requirement
should not be in the hands of the Planning Department nor its director. Otherwise it will be easy for
developers to circumvent this requirement if they have the right friends.
We must apply the same standards to each developer.
Moreover, I would like to amend the subdivision code so that the information required applies to
developments larger than 25 acres so that small developers would not be faced with the burden of
unnecessary requirements for their small projects.
