SUBJECT: Bill to amend Chapter 4 (Animals), Hawaii County Code J
A bill amending Chapter 4 (Animals), is attached.
At the 4/19 meeting of the Public Safety and Parks and Recreation Committee, Bill 4 [Draft 6]
and Bill 258, relating to animals, were postponed pending redrafting of a single bill to combine
the better elements of each. Each of these bills are proposed to replace Chapter 4, Hawaii
County Code 1983 (2005 Edition).
Bill 258 is drawn directly from Sec - 4.10 Revised Ordinances of Honolulu. The attached bill is
drafted from Bills 4 and 258.
