SUBJECT: Bill to amend Chapter 14 (General Welfare), Hawaii County Code
A bill amending Chapter 14 (General Welfare) is attached.
The policy objectives for the bill are:
• No alcohol in any county P&R facility without a permit.
• Permit for alcohol only at a limited number of narrowly defined sites.
• Permit for alcohol only during onetime period (12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.).
The Department of Parks and Recreation originally drafted the bill.
