I have been a Hawaiian quilter for over ten years. I support Kathy and Ola's new
venture in opening a quilt shop in Hilo, Hawaii.
I would like to see a quilt shop that carries quality fabric to make Hawaiian quilts. I also
support the fact that she will be teaching Hawaiian quilt classes. There are many fans of
Hilo and the outer island who come up to Volcano and shop at Kilauea Kreations.
Many cannot make the long drive up to Volcano to see and shop there. Some also have
health problems that prevent them from coming to Volcano.
I am looking forward to having another great place to see the great art of Hawaiian quilts
and quilters.
