Mr Chairman and all Council Persons, Aloha!
I am asking you to please approve and adopt as amended Councilman Angel Pilago's
Resolution 381-06.
As a caring and deeply concerned resident, I have been participating in the Kona Community
Development Plan. You are undoubtedly aware of the groundswell of support for and depth of
community commitment to this project. Currently, in tandem with the charettes and work which
is being effected by the Consultants yvu engaged and are paying for this purpose, many of us
in a dozen specific work groups are in the process of doing research and developing proposals
for courses of action aimed at adequately responding to the input and outcry of the residents of
West Hawaii. Adoption of Councilman Angel Pilago's Resolution 381-06 is an ESSENTIAL
contribution you, the County Council, are being asked to make to and for the future of North
and South Kona.
