Hawaii County Council,
Unfortunately this meeting on 6/20 is during my work hours and I can not
attend.
However, I ask you accept this email as written testimony in support of
this
resolution.
The uncontrolled growth in West Hawaii is beyond ability to manage. For
two
very obvious reasons it is imperative that you support this resolution
if
for no
other reason than to give time to see work-in-process results.
First, the citizens of West Hawaii have been asked and much money and
time
has
been spent to seek input to a community development plan. It would be a
further
expression of disregard to West Hawaii to ignore this input.
Second, the situation here is far worse than those outside West Hawaii
can
truly
appreciate without experiencing it first hand. There is nothing to be
gained
short term by not supporting this resolution.
