SUBJECT : MARIJUANA ERADICATION MISSION FOR THE MONTH OF MAY 2006
The Hawaii Police Department conducted a marijuana eradication mission on
May 22-24, 2006, in East Hawaii and on May 25, 2006, in West Hawaii.
As required by Resolution No. 46-01, reports indicating the number of plants eradicated
and the number of complaints received from the public, the type of complaint and the
complaint disposition are attached.

Helicopter flew low over house about five times. Caller was not able to provide detailed description or
estimated elevation of helicopter.

Flying at 1,000 feet over the area conducting aerial surveillance for marijuana plants.
Time in Area: 5 minutes No. of Plants Recovered: 710
Immediate Action Taken:
None because had just completed area checks for more marijuana plants.
Comments:
Officers were in the Kapoho area eradicating marijuana plants just prior to complaint received.
Further checks were being conducted for more plants in the area.
