RE: A Resolution requesting the Hawai'i County Council to look into banning smoking at
Kahalu'u Beach Park.
For your consideration, I am submitting a resolution for your deliberation to ban smoking at
Kahalu'u Beach Park. The West Hawai'i Youth Fishery Council is a volunteer organization
comprised of youths from the Kailua-Kona area who are dedicated to preserve the pristine
offshore and near shore waters off the greater Kailua-Kona area as the habitat for various species
of fish and other sea animals.
