Dear Ms Isbell:
I provide here written testimony in support of Resolution 402-06 introduced by Mr. Pilago to have 1/2
the Council meetings in Kona.
Mr. Pilago proposed a measure to have a Planning Commission for West Hawaii. In a quotation from
West Hawaii Today, Mr. Higa suggested that such a proposal was a first step in splitting the County.
If he and other Council members believe that to be the case, they should readily endorse Mr. Pilago's
resolution 402-06 as this measure firmly unites the County.
Let the Council experience Kona's needs firsthand on a regular basis. Come, get to know us. You will
see that we are real friendly and deserve to be considered ohana.
