A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 99-05, RULES OF PROCEDURE AND
ORGANIZATION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, RELATING TO
MEETINGS
We understand that there will be a county council meeting today on this resolution. Candice and I are moving to
West Hawaii (Makalei Estates) in the next year and it is important to us that representative democracy actually
represent people's concerns in a balanced way, especially at the local level. This resolution, which balances
council meetings on both sides of the Island, should pass.
We are strongly in favor of resolution 402-06.
