Subject: meetings
Dear Council,
I strongly request that meetings be held in Kona every other month and that subjects or projects pertaining to
Kona be addressed at that meeting. It feels as if we are being manipulated when the council does otherwise. I
have driven over to Hilo and found the item I was interested in had been postponed or the venue changed so I
had to leave before it came up before the council. It only takes a few of these to realy upset a taxpayer. Taxation
without representation is the main item. I for one ,favor putting our
( West Hawaii ) property taxes in an escrow account until the Hilo council starts to listen to Kona. I am very
serious about this.
