RE: Resolution 401-06 Draft 2, Amendments to Resolution 401-06, Authorizing the
Department of Environmental Management to Continue an Amnesty Program
Regarding Derelict Vehicle Recycling and Disposal from Private Property
Enclosed for your consideration is a proposed draft, which amends Resolution 401-06, to
extend the program for an additional year in the first resolved clause. The changes between the
original resolution and this draft are as follows:
1. Amended the following paragraph to read as follows: (changes are ramseyered)
"NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII, that an amnesty program for the removal and recycling of
derelict vehicles on private properties will be continued through Fiscal Years 2006-
2008 [7]."
2. Nonsubstantive changes to the formatting of the document, suggested by LRB staff were also
made.
