No. 924 <br /> <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> <br /> TIME: 9:00 a.m. <br /> <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication No. 924, reports as follows: <br /> Communication No. 924, transmitted by Mayor Harry Kim, dated May 26, 2006, nominates <br /> Ms. Joanne Balberde-Kamalii of Council District 3 to serve on the Hawaii County Civil Service <br /> Commission. <br /> <br /> A 43-yeaz resident of Hawaii, Ms. Balberde-Kamalii is currently employed by the State of <br /> Hawaii, Department of Education as School Behavioral Specialist at Hilo High School. Ms. <br /> Balberde-Kamalii is a present member of the County of Hawaii Status of Women and also a <br /> <br /> past member of the County of Hawaii Family Violence Advisory Commission and the East <br /> Hawaii Friends of Foster Families.
