COMMISSION
From Mayor Harry Kim, dated May 1, 2006, submitting for confirmation the nomination
of Alvin Rho of Council District 8 to the Hawaii County Planning Commission. A
61-year resident of Hawaii, Mr. Rho is currently employed as a senior associate at
America's Choice. Not affiliated with any political party, if confirmed, he will serve a
term to expire on December 31, 2010.

FREDERICK WARSHAUER TO THE PUNA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PLAN
(CDP) STEERING COMMITTEE
From Mayor Harry Kim, dated May 19, 2006, requesting confirmation of the appointments
of the above individuals to the Puna Community Development Plan Steering Committee
(CDPSC) for an 18-month term which would be extended if necessary to run parallel with
the CDP process. The CDPSC will consist of 1 1 members who reside in the Puna District.
Mr. Darren M. Ah ChonE is a 10-year resident of Puna and is presently a Realtor
for Ala Kai Realty, Inc.
Mr. Eddie Alonzo is a 46-year resident of Puna and is presently a Laborer with the
County of Hawai `i, Puhlic Works, Highways Division.

Ms. Stephanie Bath is a 24 year resident of Puna and is aself-employed licensed
massage therapist.
Mr. W. GreEOry Braun is a 34 year resident of Puna and is the owner of Asia

Ms. Barbara M. Lively is a 20 year resident of Puna and is currently a
Council Aide to Councilmember Bob Jacobson.
Ms. B. Martha Lockwood is a 30 year resident of Puna and is an Office Manager
for Geohazards Consultant International.
Mr. Jon A. Olson is a 12 year resident of Puna and was previously self=employed
in aquaculture.
Ms. Shirley M. Pedro is a resident of Puna and is employed as an Office Clerkfor
RichardLee-Ching, MD.
Mr. Alan S. Rudo 1s a. five year resident of Puna and is currently an
Insurance Agent with Prudential Financial.
Ms. Kim D. Tavares is a 14 year resident of Puna and is a member and employee
of the Fern Forest Community Association.
Mr. Frederick R. Warshauer is 35 year resident of Puna and is presently a
Biologist with the IZS. Geological Survey, Biological Resources Division.
