A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, West Hawaii Veterans' Cemetery Development & Expansion Association
(WHVCDEA, Inc.) is anon-profit organization, which consist of veterans for the purpose of
improving the West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery; and
WHEREAS, WHVCDEA, Inc. has launched afive-year project to reforest 40-acres of
the 62-acre West Hawaii Veterans' Cemetery with native dryland trees and shrubs; and
WHEREAS, a $40,000.00 appropriation from the Council District 7 Contingency Relief
account will be used to purchase trees, topsoil, and irrigation supplies.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transferred and appropriated as set forth
below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $40,000.00
CREDITED TO:
010.801.5801.33 Transfer to Cap Proj Fund-G $40,000.00
(Park Improvement Projects Council District 7)
(To be allotted to West Hawaii Veterans' Cemetery)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Department of Pazks and Recreation and the Director of Finance,
and that the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessazy transfers in
accordance with the terms of this resolution.
