A 43-year resident of Hawaii, Ms. Balberde-Kamalii is currently employed as a School Behavioral Specialist with the Department of Education. Not affiliated with any political party, if confirmed, she will serve an unexpired term that will end on December 31, 2008. Comm. 926: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE DONATION OF A (Res. 380-06) SEARCH CANINE TO THE HAWAII COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT (from Canines for Kids Inc.• estimated value of the doQ with equipment is $8,000) From Finance Director William Takaba, dated May 26, 2006, requesting approval of the above donation to the Hawaii County Police Department's Juvenile Aid Section.
