RE: Resolution No. 407-06/Communication No. 972
Proposed Amendments
Attached is Resolution No. 407-06, Draft 2, which was the result of the following
amendments made during the August 1, 2006 meeting of the Hawaii County Council:
1. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the ordinance shall provide that: No
person shall smoke/use any tobacco products at Kahalu`u Beach at any time. The penalty for
violation of this ordinance shall be a one hundred dollar ($100.00) fine; and
This amendment is intended to make clear that any use of a tobacco product, whether
smoked or otherwise, will be prohibited at Kahalu`u Beach Park.
