Re: Resolution Transferring Funds
Enclosed is a resolution transferring $41,787 out and from the Public Works' Engineering
Division Salary and Wages account and crediting it to the Finance Department's Property
Management Salary and Wages account. In the current fiscal year's operating budget,
funds were appropriated to create a new Land Agent position within the Department of
Public Works' Engineering Division. However, upon further discussions between the
Administration and the Department of Civil Service, it was decided that the position would
be more appropriately placed in the Department of Finance's Property Management
Division.

Works.

Resolution to transfer funds from the Department of Public Works - Engineering Division for the
Land Agent position to the Department of Finance - Property Management:
From: 010.183.5183.01.011 Engineering Division S&W $41,787
To: 010.121.5129.01.011 Property Management S&W $41,787
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
Upon discussion with Civil Service and Administration, it has been decided that the position of
Land Agent would be more appropriately placed in the Department of Finance's Land
Management Division. Therefore, funds appropriated in fiscal year 2006-2007 in the
Engineering Division are requested to be transferred to the Land Management Division.
